MATTY English says he ‘loved every minute’ of training with the England squad.
The Giants prop was asked to join the get-together last Tuesday ahead of the international match against the Combined Nations All Stars at Warrington on June 25.
The 23-year-old admits he didn’t expect to get the nod, but was grateful for the opportunity.
“I never dreamt that it would come this early,” English said. “I’m grateful, and I hope I stay there or there abouts.”
English revealed it felt surreal to be involved in the set-up,
