HUDDERSFIELD Giants’ expected first game with supporters at the John Smith’s Stadium will take place on Friday, June 11.
The dates for Betfred Super League rounds 9 to 13 have been released, and Ian Watson’s men will play in front of fans for the first time in more than a year when they host Wigan Warriors (7.45pm).
Plans for fans to return are still dependent on the government’s roadmap out of lockdown going ahead as planned.
It is hoped the Giants will be playing in front of spectators again on May 17 – the earliest date possible – when they visit Warrington, after which they have away matches at Leigh and Wakefield before the visit of the Warriors to the JSS.
Giants will face Salford Red Devils at home on June 18 (7.45pm), and will travel to Hull FC’s KCOM Stadium on June 25. They play host to Catalans on July 1 and Castleford on July 6, both 7.45pm.
