Little to change for Cherries trip

-

THE Terriers travel south for one of the hardest games of the season as they face Championship pacesetters Bournemouth this afternoon.

The Cherries on top are yet to be beaten and are coming into this game off the back of three straight wins. Huddersfield Town are unbeaten in four, but know this is the toughest challenge out there a draw would be an excellent result. So a tough game ahead and one to perhaps shuffle the pack? two changes for me: Naby Sarr in for the suspended Levi Colwill, and Fraizer Campbell in for Danny Ward after his good showing off the bench against Birmingham. ■■PREDICTED LINE-UP: Nicholls; Pearson, Lees, Sarr; Thomas, Hogg, O’Brien, Toffolo; Sinani, Campbell, Holmes. Subs: Bilokapic, Ruffels, Turton, High, Russell, Koroma, Ward.

TOWN don’t need to be scared going into this but they do need to be realistic. After this game they have a week off then Millwall, Peterborough and Cardiff in seven days. We’re not saying you pick and choose your games but their season won’t live or die on whether they get anything from Bournemouth away.

Rotation then, and it’s needed – a few Town players looked leggy against Hull and even more so against Birmingham. Also, and importantly, they can mix it up now without suffering massively as they have better options this season.

I’d have a midfield five for a bit of security, but behind them the only change is Sarr coming in due to Colwill’s suspension.

Thomas does look tired, an hour off here would do him good, Ollie Turton comes in on the right then. Duane Holmes doesn’t drop back into midfield for me as he has a defined role now elsewhere and is doing well, so it’s a central three of Lewis O’Brien, Jonathan Hogg, and Scott High.

Up top Josh Koroma and Frazier Campbell both start to give Danel Sinani and Danny Ward some rest too.
