Under and over?

MARK STRONG and Danny Mays return for a second series of this intriguing medical drama, about a clandestine operating theatre hidden beneath Temple tube station.

Strong plays Daniel, a surgeon who became embroiled in this secret world as he tried to save his terminally ill wife, Beth.

He eventually succeeded – Beth is now alive and well, with a second chance at life, but she he has no idea of the sacrifices her husband has made and the secrets he’s keeping… not yet, anyway.

Daniel plans to move on, treating the bunker like a bad dream. But soon he gets a phone call from old friend Lee (played by Mays), summoning him back to deal with a new crisis.

Meanwhile, Daniel’s daughter – who has secrets of her own – is in for the shock of her life.

Watch out for Rhys Ifans, who joins the show as an underworld fixer named Gubby who adds an entirely new level of peril. (Mark Strong) who wants no more to do with the illegal ops

Spin-offs rarely enjoy as much success as this follow-up to The Good Wife – already on its fifth series.

Mamma Mia! star Christine Baranski plays legal heavyweight Diane Lockhart, pictured, navigating tricky cases, personal drama and American politics. The first episode of the new season looks back at how 2020 affected the firm.

When Kamala Harris becomes the first Vice President of colour, Adrian starts to question his own decision to run for office, while the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg throws Diane’s work off course.

Meanwhile, with America preparing for life under a new President, Liz is under pressure to promote her black colleagues and oust Diane.
