Do I have to run?

You can walk, skip or roll the course if you wish, as long as you are enjoying yourself. If an obstacle looks too much then you can bypass it.

Who can take part?

There is no age requiremen­t but participan­ts must be at least 4ft tall. Children under 11 must be accompanie­d by an adult.

What obstacles will be there?

One of the potential obstacles is Europe's biggest inflatable slide, as well as 6ft 5in beach balls, a giant bouncy castle and a labyrinth.

What happens with the money raised?

Thousands of pounds are expected to be raised for good causes thanks to people taking part for charity, adding to the huge money pot already raised for good causes at previous events. Participan­ts can also go Gung-ho in aid of the event’s national charity partner BBC Children In Need.

Will there be any merchandis­e?

Everyone who takes on the fun will receive a free bib with a race number, a T-shirt and headband.
