SHED SEVEN ANNOUNCE SURPRISE PERFORMANCE

-

Shed Seven has announced a surprise performance in North Point Shopping Centre next month.

Rick Witter and Paul Banks will be performing an acoustic gig at the Bransholme venue on Saturday, November 3, with tickets available now from backtoours.co.uk

Joining the indie icons will be Chris Helme and Hull musician Yasmin Coe.

Back To Ours director Lou Yates said: “It’s great to be working with our producing partner, Dean Shakespeare at Revolver, Under the Influence, to bring another top band to North Point.

“Chris and Yasmin are the perfect support acts for what’s going to be another incredible evening, and we know everyone’s going to have a great time.

“We’ve got a last wave of limited tickets available, so snap them up, make sure you all bring cash for the bar and get your voices ready to sing to the rafters – it’s going to be another sing-along belter.”

The Back To Ours gigs at Bransholme have become a mainstay of the festival, with people packing out the centre to see Pigeon Detectives, Black Grape, Reverend And The Makers, and most recently, The Coral.

Combining dark, hypnotic pop with soaring lyrics, Shed Seven were one of the most popular and recognisable bands to burst out of the 90s Britpop scene.

This rare acoustic set by founding members Rick and Paul will bring all their classic anthems to North Point, including Going For Gold, Chasing Rainbows and Getting Better, plus songs from their acclaimed new album, Instant Pleasures.
