Rangers wary of Maltby’s threats

-

HALL Road Rangers welcome Maltby Main to Haworth Park tomorrow for a second successive home game in the NCEL Premier Division.

Rangers will have been encouraged by their late fight back against Worksop Town last weekend despite their 4-2 defeat and they will look to secure a much improved result.

Rangers assistant manager Andy Watts pointed out Maltby’s excellent defensive record and says they will make it difficult for Hall Road to break them down.

“Maltby are a well-established and well-respected team in the NCEL Premier Division.

“They have four clean sheets so far this season and don’t concede too many goals as they are a well organised and compact team,” said Watts who is also pleased to have a couple of players back for tomorrow’s game.

“We’re hoping to welcome two players back into the squad who weren’t available last week so there will be more competition for places which is pleasing to see.

“We have created lots of chances in the last few games and we are seeing the team progress every week.

“We are looking forward to the game and we will be ready for the challenges Maltby Main will bring.

“However, we will be going into the match looking to get a positive result and focusing on what we do well as a team.”
