DRINKERS in Hull and the East Riding can get their hands on a free pint each week for the duration of October.

The new deal put on at selected pubs across the city, as well as in Beverley and other East Yorkshire towns, has been designed to encourage customers to make use of their venues and to thank them for sticking by them during the coronavirus pandemic.

In total, 100,000 free drinks are up for grabs across the UK, split between 1,250 pubs.

Pints of Amstel, Guinness and Stella Artois are all included, along with Jack Rabbit wines, Rekorderlig, and Gordon’s Gin and mixers.

Alcohol-free Heineken, Pepsi Max and J2O are also part of the offer.

It will run between October 1 and October 29.

Customers can download a voucher via the Great British Pubs website.

Nick Light, managing director of Ei Publican Partnerships, said: “We are delighted to be running our free drinks campaign again.

But this time, as a thank you, we’ve extended the offer so that our customers can have up to one drink a week throughout October on an exciting and wide range of products.

“Our customers have been fantastic in supporting their local pubs post-lockdown, and this is our way

of giving something back to them.

It continues to be a difficult time not just for our industry, but for our customers, with local lockdowns and tougher restrictions feeding feelings of uncertainty and worry.

“This offer is about allowing our customers to continue to enjoy their local pubs in the safe and secure environment that our publicans and teams deliver on a daily basis while having a drink on us.”
