THRONES PREQUEL FOR PADDY

BRITISH actor Paddy Considine, right, will play King Viserys Targaryen in the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel, HBO said this week.

House Of The Dragon is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and will tell the story of the Targaryen family. Dead Man’s Shoes and The Death Of Stalin star Paddy, 47, will play the “warm, kind and decent” Viserys.

Based on his book Fire & Blood, George RR Martin is a co-creator on the show. HBO has not yet said when the prequel will air.

HOME IS WHERE THE KART IS...

THE next Mario Kart game will see players race real remote control cars around their home as they take part in virtual kart racing thanks to augmented reality technology.

Mario Kart: Home Circuit, which is out on October 16, comes with either a Mario or Luigi kart in the box plus four cardboard gates, which are used to plot a race track around the home by driving the physical kart through them.

The camera uses augmented reality to overlay the virtual elements of Mario Kart races on to the view of the physical room, creating the impression a Mario Kart Grand Prix is taking place around the user’s feet.

SPIDEY VILLAIN IS A BIT OF A SHOCK

HOLLYWOOD star Jamie Foxx will reportedly reprise his villainous role as Electro (pictured) in Tom Holland’s third solo Spider-man film.

Jamie played Electro/max Dillon in The Amazing Spider-man 2 opposite Andrew Garfield’s Spider-man/peter Parker.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie will now be back as the super-charged Electro in the upcoming superhero sequel.

No further storyline details were given, but returning alongside Holland are supporting cast members Zendaya as MJ, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May Parker, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds and Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson.
