Another long away trip from East Yorkshire beckons for Hull City, with Swindon the destination just days after leaving the West Country with all three points from a 3-1 success at Bristol Rovers.

The Tigers have been boosted by the news that a clean bill of health has been reported following Tuesday’s victory at the Memorial Stadium, with only Lewie Coyle missing the trip to the County Ground through injury.

Head coach Grant Mccann made two changes for the midweek clash on the Avon, with Hakeeb Adelakun and Jordy de Wijs coming in for Keane LewisPotter and Jacob Greaves.

He says the temptation will be there to freshen things up again, despite the Tigers having a free week to prepare for next weekend’s FA Cup meeting with Fleetwood at the KCOM Stadium.

“Everyone came through the game well. Only Lewie Coyle will be missing this weekend.

“Other than that, we’ve got a fully fit squad so that’s pleasing,” Mccann said ahead of the Robins’ clash.

“For everybody this fixture list is relentless so we’re going to make

sure we’re picking a fresh team.

“The boys are fine and they’re all putting their hand up to play, but it’s a busy period so we’ll need to be mindful of that.”

Mccann’s triple substitution on Tuesday had a spectacular impact, with Lewis-potter, Regan Slater and Tom Eaves all coming off the bench to score in the second half as his side fought back from a goal down, with the City boss admitting it was an all-round great response from the setback against Peterborough last weekend.

“We should’ve had three points against Peterborough, but we showed a great response after conceding early at Bristol Rovers to come back and win 3-1.

“It was brilliant from the boys who came on at Bristol. They grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck and turned the game around.”
