What does Biden mean for us?
JOE Biden has won the US election, and whatever political persuasion you have, that must be seen as a good result for the world.

The Democrats and Biden in particular have not forgiven nor forgotten. There is also the little matter of the Good Friday agreement and their desire to see that maintained. None of this bodes well for our special
relationship, let alone the chance of securing a trade deal.
With hopes of an EU deal evaporating faster than Trump’s legal options, we could be reduced to fighting for scraps with small trading nations on WTO rules.
