WEST Ham United winger Nathan Holland has been linked with a January move to Hull City.

The talented left winger enjoyed a productive spell in League One at Oxford United in the second half of last season, before a serious hamstring injury ended his campaign, keeping him out for six months.

The 22-year-old is a reportedly a target for Tigers boss Grant Mccann with City desperate to bring in reinforcements after losing Hakeeb Adelakun earlier this week, following his loan recall by Championship club Bristol City, according to trusted West Ham source.

During his stint on loan at the Kassam Stadium last season, Holland scored three times in 12 outings, form which saw him become a popular figure with Karl Robinson’s U’s before suffering his injury in a game with Shrewsbury Town with a return to Oxfordshire also possible.

Holland returned to action last month following his lengthy injury lay-off playing in West Ham’s Under-23s defeat to his former club, Everton, admitting his relief.

“It’s good to be back out there,” Holland told whufc.com after the game, before going on to speak of his openness for another loan switch.

“It’s been a very long time and I’m just happy to get on the pitch again, get my second game under my belt and just progress and take it one step at a time.

“The first team are doing great. I just have to keep doing my thing, and hopefully the rest will take care of itself, whether that be another loan move, or I just keep getting fit.

“We’ll just see what happens. I just need to keep working hard and I’ll continue to do that.”
