A FEARFUL Hull mum told her boyfriend, “he’s going to get me”, as she was being followed through Bransholme by a silent man on a pitch black winter night.

Alisha Bryant, 23, has described how she “genuinely feared for her own life” as a man “kept appearing” on her route home along Noddle Hill track and around North Bransholme on the night of Sunday, January 10.

“It was the scariest experience I’ve been through”, she said as she appealed to other people to stay vigilant.

Humberside Police are aware of the incident and say “an investigation is currently ongoing” while patrols continue in the area.

Having come to the conclusion that the man was following her along Noddle Hill track, Ms Bryant called her partner while “crying in so much fear”.

At one point, exhausted from as she became running, she almost gave in and admitted the man was about to catch her. However, she believes she saved by a group who heard screams and took her to safety.

“At the time it was happening genuinely feared for my own life. “I was petrified something could happen to me.

“Even when I first got away from him I was still so on edge and scared,” Alisha said.

“I was on the phone to my boyfriend as soon as I got signal again crying, he really tried to calm me down, but I was so shaken up by it, then when I saw him again it was the most scariest experience I’ve been through as he just kept appearing.

“When I ran for the last time I was crying in so much fear. I stopped behind a van down Hucknall Garth.

“I remember taking three or four deep breathes before telling my boyfriend that he’s going to get me I couldn’t run any further.

“If it wasn’t for him to tell me to scream or look for someone around me to get help I dread to that

I think what could have happened.

“I’m still living in fear , three days later, in because he’s still out there - not even just for myself, for every other person he could intentionally hurt.

“I can’t sleep, I can’t even be at my own house because I’m scared to be alone never mind been able to leave the house.

“Whoever he is I don’t think he realises how much he can emotionally hurt someone.”

One of the group who helped her is understood to have attempted to pursue the man - but he got away.

The incident was reported to the Humberside force.

In a statement, a spokesman for the police said: “At approximately

“She noticed the man as she walked along Noddle Hill track towards Enstone Garth.

“The man did not speak to the woman, but she felt uneasy and called upon a member of the public for assistance as she believed she was being followed.
