A HULL schoolgirl is hoping to be the next Enola Holmes as her mum said child acting agents have told her she looks like the movie’s lead actor Millie Bobby Brown.
Sophie Gilmour, 11, has a “passion” for acting, with industry professionals dubbing her to look to the Hollywood actress, her mum claims.
Her idol Millie, 17, has recently been spotted in Hull filming scenes for Enola Holmes 2, where she plays the main character of Sherlock Holmes’ sister.
Sophie, who lives in Hessle with her two siblings, hopes to follow in her footsteps and become a successful actress.
The school pupil was recently signed by a London acting agency who represent child actors.
Her mum Jenny Gilmour, who is known for her blogging on parenting, said: “She has just signed with Acting Kids and is looking forward to potential opportunities.
“Sophie says that acting is her passion and it was by chance that she looks like Millie Bobby Brown.
“They [the agency] said how much she looks like her.
“Sophie is looking to her as inspiration as she heads down this

career path at a young age of 11. Jenny, 31, explained how her daughter got into acting.
She said: “She was in her last year of primary school and was asked to be the lead role in her leavers play.
“Sophie also took on the role as lead singer as she was featured in solos before.
“With remarks of how well she had done she expressed a high interest in acting. “I couldn’t be more proud of her because I used to want to act myself but I didn’t have the confidence to pursue it.”
