21 people wanted for fly-tipping in the city
COUNCIL RELEASES IMAGES OF THOSE CAUGHT ON CCTV
THESE are the faces of those currently wanted by Hull City Council for fly-tipping.
They all are currently listed on the council’s “caught on camera” section on its website.
The council has published video footage online showing the shocking and brazen acts of environmental crime in the middle of streets across Hull.
And the public are being asked for their help to identify the people that the council wants to speak to.
Councillor Rosie Nicola, portfolio holder for environmental services said:
“We do not take fly-tipping lightly, and will take enforcement action against those who carry out these offences.
“We encourage residents to always check with the Environment Agency before paying someone to dispose of their waste and ensure they are fully licensed.
“Not only is this antisocial behaviour costly to remove, it is a blight on residents’ neighbourhoods and also uses resources, which could be supporting other essential council services.”
