Dan Sadler, Equinor
“The biggest industrial emissions in the UK are to be found in and around The Humber with our refining, our power production and Saltend is at the heart of that. If you combine The Humber with the Tees, then you’ve got more than half of all the industrial emissions of the UK there. We will be making a significant step for the whole country.”
Graham Stuart MP
“If you want to be engaging our future workforce, you want to be aiming at our four and five year olds. You don’t want to be aiming at the 14 and 15 year olds.
It’s too late at that point.”
Liam Johnson, Inmans Primary School
“We need to embrace both carbon capture and storage opportunities, but equally important is to put the hydrogen into the system. So the opportunity to store CO2 offshore opens up the blue hydrogen potential to support decarbonisation of industry.”
