HULL will finally have a permanent city centre sushi bar after Oishii Ne Asian Food Co succeeded in securing a location in Paragon Arcade.

The local business has impressed in recent months, following stints at Hammonds of Hull and more recently at Paragon Arcade. Oishii Ne serves a range of Japanese dishes including sushi, gyoza, and karaage.

After falling in love with their last pop-up location, the team at Oishii Ne has secured a permanent residence at Paragon Arcade and will be opening on Wednesday, July 6. The team announced the exciting news on Facebook last week.

Oishii Ne Asian Food Co. wrote: “We have some BIG NEWS. We are finally moving to our very own permanent location at Paragon Arcade, Hull City Centre and will be opening Wednesday, July 6.

“Having our own space was always the main goal and when we took part in a two-week pop-up down the arcade in April, it just felt like home. The location is beautiful, the timing felt right and all the independents down there made us feel extremely welcome.

“We have quite a bit of organising to do between now and July but we are trying to create our very own, Tokyo-inspired Izakaya for the city of Hull to enjoy. It’s about time there was a place like it in our home town so why not us?

“We will be serving six days a week for everyone to enjoy on lunch and twice a month we will have evening services on a Saturday in our cosy upstairs area serving Oishii specials that have not made the menu yet along with sake and Japanese wine.

“The menu will continue to evolve as we go on but the delicious regulars of Oishii will always remain such as Sushi, Gyoza and Karaage.

“Oishii Ne has evolved from what started as a bit of fun in 2020 lockdown serving takeaway gyoza to friends, to now having our very spot and we are so excited to take this step forward.

“You guys have supported us on every step and it just shows how the Hull public can support little independents like us and help us achieve what we never thought was possible. Thank you so much.

“Can’t wait to see you all soon!” For more information on Oishii Ne Asian Food Co, visit www. facebook.com/oishii.ne.afc
