Roller Rink is now open at York outlet

-

AN exciting new attraction is heading to York Designer outlet this summer which aims to “bring a taste of the seaside” to the North Yorkshire city.

The YO1 Beach Club and Roller Rink will be the newest addition to the outlet, and promises to be a fun day out for all the family.

The attractions include a vintage carousel, funfair game stalls, a café, and even bringing its very own sandy beach and a boat for the kids to play in.

Of course not forgetting the roller rink itself, where families will be able to buy tickets for a one-hour skate session which is ensured to be a bundle of laughs.

Along with the rink will be the Beach Café where a full menu including burgers, pizza and fish and chips will be available, as well as vegan and kids’ options.

Organiser of the YO1 Beach Club and Roller Rink, James Cundall said: “We aim to offer somewhere that’s a bit different and fun for all ages. Visitors can enjoy rollerskating, a carousel ride, playing in the sand or just take time to relax and soak up the beach vibe.”

It’s the first time that York Designer Outlet has hosted a summer roller-skating event, which it is hopeful that guests will love as much as their Winter Wonderland attraction which happens near Christmas time.

YO1 Beach Club and Roller Rink opens on July 14, running all the way through summer until September 4, opening at 9.30am until 7pm daily.

Tickets are priced at £9.75 for adults and £8.75 for children aged 16 and under.

Included in these ticket price is the rental of the rollerskates.

For families there are a few packages available, which can be found on their website.

Booking is also recommended as there is a limited capacity of 80 people per session and can also be accessed through their website.

However, people wishing to visit can also purchase tickets on site.
