Just 20 players in Hull KR squad as injuries pile up ahead of Toulouse clash

-

HULL KR coach Tony Smith has been forced to name just 20 players in his squad ahead of Saturday’s showdown in the South of France as Rovers take on Toulouse Olympique at the Stade Ernest Wallon.

The injury list at Craven Park extended once again this week, as crucial pair Ryan Hall and George King are both set for spells on the sidelines after picking up knocks in the defeat to Huddersfield Giants.

Young outside-back Will Tate is back in the matchday set-up after recently signing a new two-year deal after impressing during his loan spell at Championship side Workington Town.

As poor as the Robins have been in recent months, they are doing it tough.

KR are missing Jordan Abdull, Brad Takairangi, Kane Linnett, Luis Johnson, George King, Ryan Hall and Tom Garratt, who are all injured.

There are some tough calls to make on who should feature come

Saturday night, but one thing for sure is Toulouse will be gunning for the Robins after seeing their depleted side.
