HULL KR and Castleford Tigers are finalising a loan arrangement for winger Louis Senior.

League Express previously reported that the Tigers were interested in facilitating a move for Senior and Rugby League Live can reveal the two clubs are working through the process of finalising a deal.

If all goes to plan, Senior, whose twin brother, Innes, is already at the club, will be registered in time to play against Wigan Warriors on Friday.

The 23-year-old has made one appearance for the Robins this season, featuring for the club in their victory over London earlier this month. The loan would initially be for two weeks with the potential for it to be extended.

Castleford are desperately searching for some immediate recruits given the nature of their current injury list. They had 15 players unavailable heading into their Challenge Cup defeat to Wigan and Sylvester Namo now looks set for a spell on the sidelines through suspension after receiving a Grade F charge.

As for KR, they are currently looking healthy in the outside backs, with Oliver Gildart closing in on a return to action.

Ryan Hall and Joe Burgess are currently holding down the wing spots, with the latter proving to be the match winner in their Challenge Cup victory over Leigh Leopards.

Senior has scored 32 tries in 55 Super League appearances during his career and enjoyed a prolific tournament for Ireland during the Rugby League World Cup, scoring six tries in three appearances.

He is off-contract at Craven Park at the end of the season and it remains to be seen where his long-term future lies.

Sauaso Sue will miss Hull KR’S trip to Catalans Dragons after being suspended.

The prop has received a onematch ban after copping a dangerous contact charge in the victory over Leigh Leopards.

Given his previous record, Sue has received the higher end of the sanction and has been suspended, rather than fined.

Catalans also look set to lose a player with Bayley Sironen referred to the tribunal for a Grade E head contact following their defeat to Huddersfield.
