Benq’s 27-inch Adobe RGB Colour Management Monitor is purpose-built for photography and is perfect for helping you get the most out of macos High Sierra’s new photo-editing capabilities, and indeed the more specialist photography suites available for your Mac. This wide-gamut screen offers 99 per cent Adobe
RGB colour, a high resolution 2560x1440 display, built-in hardware calibration and a black and white photo mode. It also comes with a detachable shading hood and a micro USB remote controller, which lets you effortlessly switch between your preferred colour modes.
The colour modes consist of Standard, Adobergb, SRGB, B&W, Photo and Low Blue Light and you can set up your own custom calibrations. You can also connect various graphics adaptors using the Displayport, DVIDL and HDMI inputs and there are two USB 3.0 sockets and an SD card reader on the side of the monitor for the easy transferral of images.
The resolution of the SW2700PT provides plenty of onscreen workspace and the 178 degree viewing angles (both vertical and horizontal) maintain the colour and brightness no matter how wide you go. For video the blacks and contrast are very good and the screen updates quickly with no noticeable ghosting, making it well suited to gaming as well.
Excellent value for money, you would certainly struggle to find another monitor that comes close to offering the same high standard of colour, contrast and saturation for the same price as the SW2700PT. Highly recommended.
