Step-by-step Add Screen Recording to Control Centre
1 Launch Settings app
To use Screen Recording in IOS 11, you need to add it to the Control Centre. Open the Settings app and scroll down the screen before tapping the entry for Control Centre.
2 Customise controls
You will see there is only one option available to you here: Customise Controls. As such you simply need to tap this option to view all the controls that you’re able to use.
3 Add a control
There are two main parts to the screen: the controls already included in the Control Centre at the top and the other options at the bottom. Tap ‘+’ next to Screen Recording.
4 Organise the controls
Now Screen Recording has moved to the top which means it is now included in your Control Centre. You could remove this by tapping the ‘–’ icon but let’s move on.
5 Open Control Centre
Press the Home button on your ipad to exit Settings. Now swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Control Centre. The Screen Recording icon will be visible.
6 Tap recording button
If you want to start recording the screen, you simply need to tap on this button. A countdown will begin and it will turn red. Tap again to stop and the video will be saved.
