stereotypically British and start prattling on about the weather, the record-breaking heatwave that scorched our green and pleasant land in May, coupled with the COVID-19 lockdown that forced us to work from our makeshift home offices, meant that the arrival of the Airgo Smart Fan was very welcome indeed!

Summer breeze

This freestanding floor fan can add a refreshing breeze to any room and, best of all, it can be fully automated via the Geosmartpro app, which works phenomenally well. For example, if your current working environment is getting too hot, you can program the fan to automatically kick in to cool things down again. You can also schedule the fan to start up at certain times of day, perhaps to pre-cool your lounge in preparation for a Netflix binge, or to get your home office down to a bearable temperature before you commence work in the morning. If you like falling asleep to a blissful breeze and the hypnotic rotational hum of the blades, then a handy timer function also causes the fan to switch itself off after a certain period so that you don’t have to worry about the energy it is wasting unnecessarily.

The fan comes with three different speed settings and is also one of the quietest on the market – it just goes about its business semi-stealthily and will do a great job of keeping you cool.
