An Aladdin’s cave for record enthusiasts, this free app accompanies the Discogs website and provides a means of searching the entire database for records to buy or add to your wishlist. Best of all, though, you can use the camera of your IOS device to scan all of the barcodes of your own collection to see what it’s worth – a truly magnificent way to while away the days, weeks and months.

The design of the app is a little rough around the edges but it’s a great way to track down those rare gems missing from your own record collection.
