How to give other people access to your files

High Sierra adds a lot more versatility to icloud Drive, allowing you to grant other people access to your files so you can collaborate, moving it closer to the likes of Dropbox. Right-click on a file in your icloud Drive folder and then choose Share>add People. You will now be able to choose how to send the invitation and choose the access privileges.
