Family Sharing

As well as the Messages app, you can also track the location of family members through Family Sharing. This is set up by one family member by tapping on their name in Settings and tapping on ‘Set Up Family Sharing’. Once Family Sharing is set up, family members can share their locations with each other and if one member loses their iphone then other family members can help them find it via the Find My iphone service.
