How to download your data

Once Apple has processed your application, you’ll receive an email informing you that your download is ready. Simply click the link within the message to open Safari and sign in to your Apple ID account. As you do so, note the timings at the top of the screen. You must view your data within 14 days of being told it’s available, otherwise it will be removed. If this happens, you’ll need to make a followup request to see it again.

1 Check the list

The data you’ve requested will be shown in a list on the left-hand side of the webpage. To download a specific set of data, click the downward-pointing arrow next to an entry.

2 Open the data

Depending on how large the file is, it may take a while to download. Once it’s complete, go to your Downloads. You may need to unzip compressed folders to view.
