Quick tips for mastering your device

Use Siri to translate There’s no longer any need for third-party translation apps on your device. Simply call up Siri and then ask it to translate words or phrases from English to German, Italian, French, Spanish and Chinese.

Siri will even speak the phrases for you. Speed-delete attachments

There is an easy way to delete message attachments to quickly free up space. Go to Settings>general>iphone Storage>messages, tap on a type of media (Photos, Videos, etc), then swipe left on items to reveal the option to ‘Delete’.

Define words in Safari

If you type ‘define’ followed by a word into the Safari search bar but don’t press ‘Go’ then a definition will appear underneath. Safari will use the New Oxford American Dictionary for definitions by default.

Prevent cross tracking

If you are concerned about advertisers tracking your actions and preferences in Safari then go to Settings>safari and enable the ‘Try to Prevent Crosssite Tracking’ option to add an additional layer of privacy to your everyday web surfing.
