1 Close Mac Safari
If you left your Mac or ipad with Safari open you can close the tabs from the iphone. Press the tabs button, swipe up to show icloud tabs, then swipe left to close them.
2 Show link options
3D touch or long-press a link on a web page to display a menu with options to open it, open in a new tab, add to your reading list, copy it or share it. This is so useful.
3 Open closed tabs
Press the tabs button and close tabs by tapping the cross in the corner. To see a list of tabs you recently closed, long-press the plus button. Tap a tab to reopen it.
4 Quick tab menu
Tap Safari’s tab button and normally open tabs are displayed. 3D or long-press it and a menu is displayed that enables you to close this or all tabs or open new ones.
5 Jump back
Safari’s back button takes you to the previous web page, but 3D touch/long-press it and the complete history is shown. Tap any page in the list to jump straight to it.
6 Search options
Type into the address box and, depending on Safari‘s settings, several items are displayed. At the bottom is On This Page. Tap it to search the current web page.
