Exploring the Safari activities
Like many IOS apps, Safari has an ‘Activities’ button at the bottom of the screen and pressing it displays two rows of actions. Swipe across each row to view them all. Some of the activities are built into IOS and are always present but others are added by apps that are installed, such as Facebook, Twitter, Notes apps and so on. Both of the activities lists can be customised by tapping the ‘More’ button at the far right-hand side.
1 Add shortcuts
Some websites can be as good as apps. For example, go to Twitter in Safari, tap Activities>add to Home Screen and a Twitter Lite icon is added. Delete the Twitter app.
2 Customise the activities
To customise the activities menu press More at the right and use the on/off switches to show/hide icons. Press and drag the three lines to move items up or down the list.
