Activity Monitor

This app is installed on all Macs and lets you view all of the processes running on your Mac, including apps and background processes, to highlight significant drains on the CPU.

Handoff Mode

This is a feature of IOS and macos that lets you start something on one device and then pick up where you left off on another. Both devices must be running the latest operating systems, have Bluetooth and Handoff mode enabled and be running on the same Wi-fi network.

Recovery Mode

Mode is an HD partition that makes it possible to troubleshoot issues with your Mac and run First Aid. You can initiate it by restarting and holding the Cmd+r keys.
