RUBBER FINISH FACADE

Hugh Mcewen from Office S& M (officesandm.com) gives us the lowdown

-

1

IT’S A SPECIALIST PRODUCT Make sure you approach one of the specialist installers of this material – for example, we used ESW (esw.company) since they have a wealth of knowledge on the product.

2

IT’S QUICK TO INSTALL

The material is sprayed on directly from a tanker (make sure you check access requirements) and cools in a fraction of a second. This extension took a day to prime, a day to waterproof, and a day to do the finish coat.

3

YOU MANY NOT NEED PLANNING PERMISSION

If you are using it on an existing house,

cladding may be carried out without having to apply for planning permission, provided the materials are of a similar appearance to those already in place. There is an exception if you live in a conservation area, AONB, National Park, or a listed building.

4

IT’S WATERPROOF

The material is completely seamless, so there is nowhere for water to get in, or air to get out. It is UV- and weather-stable, and can be guaranteed for 30 years.

5

THERE IS A WIDE RANGE

It comes in any colour you like, so it’s fairly easy to match it to your scheme.
