Sean Murphy, Managing Director at Encirc, said: “Encirc is delighted to be supporting the inaugural Impartial Reporter Community Champion Awards. It will be a great opportunity to recognise those people who make a real difference.”
He added: “Increasingly, the role of volunteers in all aspects of community life is growing in importance. Many of these people go unnoticed, so this will be the perfect opportunity to change that. We are happy to be the main sponsor and we are looking forward to a great celebration.”
Sky News broadcaster David Blevins said: “It will be such an honour to host the inaugural
Impartial Reporter Community Champion Awards”.
“In my 30 plus years in journalism, I’ve interviewed many Presidents and Prime Ministers, but none of them has made the impression ordinary people have. It is ordinary people doing extraordinary things who change the world - the world that is their home, their street, their school, their workplace, their community.
“Thank you to the Impartial Reporter for recognising that contribution and for inviting me to be involved.”
