Quinton tops the Monthly Medal pile with a nett 38
Results
IT was a very happy St. Patrick’s Day for David Fee who took the honours in the first Stableford competition of the new year with a very solid 38pts. Roly Curran and Jim Leonard took second and third places on 34pts and 33pts respectively.
Captain Brian Love decided to show us how it’s done in the Wednesday Open taking top spot from Frank Collins and Mark Connolly on a count back after all three finished on 32pts.
The Texas Scramble remains open until next week so if you can get a team together this is a good early year competition to get the swing moving. The Wednesday Opens are also up and running.
Monthly Medal
The big competition over the weekend was the first Medal of the season with Golfer of the
Year points available.
Quinton Carroll was the man to top the pile with a nett 38. The categories went to Paul Mckenna 37pts, Gareth Mcgovern 34pts and Barry Mcgrory 35 in categories one to three
respectively.
