Let’s talk at Nature’s Choice ‘Twist of Hormones’ event

-

NATURE’S Choice is delighted to host its forthcoming ‘Twist of Hormones’ event in the Killyhevlin Hotel on Tuesday, April 16.

“This evening has been a long time in the planning, and it promises to be very informative and inspiring for women of all ages,” says Nuala Lilley, owner of Nature’s Choice.

Nature’s Choice has noticed a marked increase in the number of women suffering from imbalances that can often lead to serious health issues.

PMT, endometriosis, polycystic ovaries and fertility problems are all much more common than they once were, and for many women menopause has become a prolonged period of mental and physical turmoil, rather than any kind of natural transition.

This may even apply to women taking HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy).

“Something has definitely gone awry with female hormones,”, says Nuala. “We believe other factors are at play and need to be addressed

“We are inviting women along to our event to perhaps ‘think outside the box’, as opposed to only addressing the balance of their sex hormones.”

The human body releases many hormones apart from oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

All of these hormones are released into our bloodstream from various locations throughout our body and they all communicate with each other and help keep each other in balance.

Our modern-day diet, lifestyle and environment may cause upset to the balance of one or more of our hormones. This may well have a knock-on effect on the balance of other hormones, especially our sex hormones.

Women of any age, suffering from hormonal imbalance, need to take a more holistic look at their hormones to achieve results. Addressing just our sex hormones in isolation is often not enough.

Guest speaker Orley Moyal will speak on the common factors that influence our hormones.

Our diet, our sugar intake, the health of our liver and our tolerance to stress can all cause upset, as can our exposure to commonly used everyday environmental toxins.

“Women are at last talking freely and openly about their hormones, and it’s great that we are,” says Nuala.

“We invite every woman to join us for this very special and important one-off evening. Let’s talk.”
