Communities in mourning after several deaths across the area

-

COMMUNITIES right across the county are mourning, with several deaths casting grief near and far.

In Boho, the death of beautiful six-year-old Sadie Hussey is being keenly felt right across the close-knit area.

The loss of a child who was described as the “heavenly princess of Boho” has plunged the community and indeed, neighbouring communities into grief.

They will all pull together to support the young girl’s family and friends in their time of need.

Primary School who knew and loved Sadie dearly will also be grieving for her, and it is right that everyone in the community wraps their arms around all of those who loved the little girl in this, a time of great heartache.

Elsewhere, in Belleek, the loss of a man who guided many families through a time of grief is being keenly felt, following the sudden passing of Patsy Mccaughey.

An undertaker by trade, Mr. Mccaughey had a gentle and compassionate manner and was re-membered by many throughout the community for the work he did for them during their times of need and heartache.

Mr. Mccaughey was a popular fixture of Belleek, and will be remembered through his work as a highly-respected businessman, as well as for his volunteering and helping the community.

Over in Enniskillen, and indeed, right across Fermanagh, the loss of Caroline Mccartney will be felt.

A leading light in the hospitality and business sector, Mrs. Mccartney was well known and high-ly-regarded for her work alongside her late husband, Raymond, in business and hospitality ven-tures right across the county.

Mrs. Mccartney passed away peacefully on Tuesday, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Over in neighbouring Tyrone, the loss of Eric Deazley, a pillar of the community in Fintona, has been keenly felt since his death last week.

Mr. Deazley was a highly-respected member of the business community in the area, and his death came as a shock to residents.

He warmly welcomed this newspaper into his shop last year as part of our Towns and Villages feature, speaking proudly of his association with Fintona, and providing much guidance on the village and its happenings.

Their deaths are all to be mourned, and their loved ones, and communities supported in such times of grief.
