WELCOME to the latest issue of IYCF. The Euro 2016 football tournament and Wimbledon aren’t the only major sporting events to have taken place this summer. At the end of last month a squad of the country’s best feeder anglers travelled to Serbia for the 2016 FIPSed Feeder World Championships on the Novisad Canal. The team were hoping to win an unprecedented hat-trick of team golds but, despite being in pole position at the end of the first day, they eventually finished runners-up with the German team claiming the victory following a strong second day performance. Hopefully this won’t be repeated in the football! This month, IYCF readers can benefit from some of the England Feeder Team’s expert knowledge. Team manager, Tommy Pickering, reveals the five pole rigs that he wouldn’t be without (page 62) and explains when and where to use each one.
