4. ROACH RIG

This is a fine pole rig for small fish such as roach, which is slightly different to a carp rig. Roach feed in the bottom 2ft of water on canals and rivers, as opposed to just hard on the bottom, so this rig is tailored to catching throughout this zone of water.
