Accurate casting

If you are in a peg with features such as snags, overhanging bushes and reedbeds, or even underwater ones such as a slightly deeper area or a gravel bar, then there is a good chance that these will be fish-holding areas or areas that they often patrol. Quite often I am teamed up with a celebrity on the show who has done little, if any, fishing before, so casting tight to an island isn’t easy. But if it doesn’t land in the right spot we still wind in and re-cast until it does, otherwise you are often wasting your time.
