Get out there

My old mate Keith Arthur once said that ‘there is no such thing as bad conditions, just the wrong clothing’, and he is absolutely right! With all the filming we do and my coaching work throughout the summer, most of my personal fishing is done from November through until March. It’s a great time of year for a big fish, but for the most part it is wet and windy, or freezing cold. But as long as I wrap myself up in the right gear and commit to actually going, when I get there it is never as bad as I expected. Remember the old saying, ‘you’ve got to be in it, to win it’.
