Special ready-rigs

These are method-specific ready-rigs tied to suit certain types of baits or fish species. Heavier-duty hooklengths from 0.11mm upwards are standard, as are eyed wide gape carp-style hooks. Patterns with hair-rigged bayonets are ideal for use with small boilies and pop-ups, while a lasso pattern works in the same way as a bait band, and is best used with hard pellet hookbaits. Kamasan’s popular F1 ready-rig is, as its name suggests, species-specific and can be used with pellets, maggots and smaller baits.
