Carp ready-rigs

These are the heavy brigade suited to catching big fish on commercials. The wide gape pattern ensures that larger baits such as pellets, corn, meat and paste can be quickly and easily hooked up without falling off. The hook’s rounded profile also allows it to be neatly hidden inside the bait. Made from a heavy gauge wire, and often forged (flattened) across the bottom of the gape to prevent them springing open, they are also tied to mono lines strong enough to cope with the rigours of bagging commercial carp.
