Conclusion

Buying a rod can be compared to buying a pair of shoes. Handstitched leather shoes may cost you more, but will ultimately last far longer than a cheaper pair. A lot of the carbon technologies that go into constructing a flagship rod cannot be seen but will appear when the rod is put under stress and needs to perform. It’s up to you, of course, but buying a more expensive rod could be cheaper in the long run.
