Drennan has managed to improve what was already a fantastic set of rods. I imagine the 1.75lb rod will be suitable for the majority of anglers and it is an absolute joy to use. It can easily cope with casting fully loaded 25g and 35g Method feeders and will handle the biggest tench and bream you can find. If you’re going to faced with situations where casting feeders beyond 60 yards will be required, the 2lb model is the tool for the job. It would also make a lovely floater fishing rod for carp.
