I’m so glad that the winter is coming to an end! No matter what type of fishing you enjoy, the cold conditions certainly make reaching your goals trickier. One of the big positives to come out of the cold season though, is the number of improvements that have been made on my local fisheries. Some have been building new pegs, others have added new fish stocks and one has even gone to the lengths of building new accommodation! Once the sunshine reappears and the greenery comes back, these groundworks will make many fisheries much easier on the eye which I believe is very important these days. Anglers want to catch a few fish but they would certainly rather do it in a setting that is easy on the eye as opposed to congregating around a muddy puddle as it were.
