ABoilies are without doubt the most popular bait on specimen carp waters and this is why the fish that inhabit them are pretty much addicted to them. But they also have a reasonably high food content. A fish only needs to slurp a few up to get their fill during winter. Blitzing boilies before you get on the bank is a fantastic way of getting a winning flavour into the water that is bound to draw fish in. But once they arrive, the only visible meal will be your hookbait which will lead to more bites. Introduce liquidised boilies via a PVA bag each time you recast.

Use a food processor or similar to whizz your boilies into a fine crumb that won’t fill up carp
