This fantastic quality unhooking mat is constructed from a water-resistant, hard-wearing, easy-clean material. The central area has deep padding for fish protection and the deep beanie style sides help to keep fish in place. The unhooking area measures 90cm x 48cm and there are four pegging points should you want to secure the mat to the ground. For ease of transportation, the XC50 folds together and is complete with carry handles. When roving or stalking with minimal gear it could also double up as a carryall to transport items such as landing nets and catapults etc. On the front edge of the mat you’ll also find a pocket with a Velcro cover that can be used to store a small bottle of antibiotic so you’ve always got some close to hand when unhooking a fish. www.kodextackle.com
