Improve Your Coarse Fishing (UK)

WINTER REPAIRS

-

STUART GREER, EMAIL

There’s no denying that there are fewer anglers on the bank in winter and I have been really pleased to see many clubs using this ‘down time’ to make improvements to their waters. It would be so easy for the committee to put their feet up and keep all the cash collected from subscriptions in the bank, but I’ve seen all sorts of work being conducted that will certainly have cost a few quid. I’ve seen new pegs installed, banks being repaired and new fish being stocked. All of this comes at a cost and it will ultimately lead to a better experience for their members next time they are out on the bank. Don’t just take things like this for granted, contact the club and let them know their hard work isn’t going unnoticed.
