IF I’M USING SINGLE BAITS WHICH ARE THE BEST COLOURS?

TOM MAKER: All colours will work but some will be better, depending on the venue and, sometimes, time of year. I am a big fan of both pink and orange, with orange being my top choice. It is a colour that doesn’t seem to be used by many, but it is incredibly visual and was always one of the best colours. I use the 12mm Peach and Pepper pop-ups for most of my fishing in the colder months. I have tried fishing three different colours on a spot and the orange is always the one that gets picked up first. It is always worth carrying a few tubs with you, though. Different colours will work better on the day than others.
