Improve Your Coarse Fishing (UK)

Welcome...

- James Furness, Editor

THANKS for purchasing this issue of IYCF. I hope you’re all staying home and keeping safe. I’m sure you are all missing getting on to the bank, but hopefully this latest issue will supply your fishing fix at home.

Like everyone, Covid- 19 has meant we’ve massively had to change how we work. For the first time ever we are having to produce the magazine without being able to go out and shoot features with anglers.

I’d like to reassure our readers that all of the features inside this issue were shot prior to the lockdown being announced on March 23. Until the current restrictions are lifted, and we feel it’s safe for both our staff and anglers to do features, we will continue to use content we already have ‘ in the can’.

Working from home has also been a big change for our team, but in between PE with Joe Wickes, trying to cast leads into a toilet roll, press- up challenges, downing pint challenges, filling Facebook with positivity by posting pictures of fish/ beaches/ dogs/ trees etc and completing numerous social media fun questionnaires, we managed to get the magazine completed.

At the time of writing we are still managing to get copies into shops, but in the event of it being difficult to find this magazine in the near future, we will aim to make sure that our issues are still available on digital platforms.

If you can’t find us, please consider downloading our app from the iOS or Android app stores. We have some superb one- off subscription offers in place with discounts of up to 50%, or you can purchase single issues.

If you’re a Kindle Fire user, you can download our magazines from the Amazon Newsstand. If you are a print subscriber and we cannot deliver issues to you owing to the Covid- 19 situation, please visit www. greatmagazines. co. uk where clear updates will be given in due course. Thanks for your support and we hope you enjoy the issue.
